Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority selects communications firm
Orlando, FL (September 29, 2009) – Patterson/Bach Communications Inc. announces that it has been selected by Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority (THEA) to provide communication services to the Authority for its conversion of Lee Roy Selmon Expressway to All Electronic Tolling (AET) by September 2010.
“The Authority is extremely pleased with our selection of Patterson/Bach Communications as our consultant for this very important project,” said Susan Chrzan, communications manager for THEA. “The conversion of the Selmon Expressway is an important strategic move for the Authority and a huge benefit to our customers.”
Patterson/Bach was selected from local and national firms to provide strategic marketing communications services, including comprehensive public relations, advertising, marketing, video production and interactive media. The account begins this month, leading up to the AET conversion in September 2010.
“Our team’s experience in marketing transportation organizations allows us to support the Authority in its effort to go cashless,” said Tim Bach, president of Patterson/Bach. “Patterson/Bach understands how to effectively inform and engage target audiences and, in this case, promote the advantages of an AET system, including time- and money-savings, as well as the safety and environmental benefits.”
