It all started back in middle school, when, as a student council member, she helped organize and promote those iconic events that many of us still fondly recall–school dances. Later, at the University of Florida, she served as a Gator Getter, hosting high school football recruits on their visits to the school*. Organizing and promoting events came naturally to this bright, outgoing young woman, and so a career in public relations would seem to be–well, a natural.
And so it was. Betsy today is one of Central Florida’s preeminent public relations specialists, having worked for a host of blue chip organizations including Walt Disney World, MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and many more. She has been recognized and honored with prestigious industry awards including a Silver Anvil Award, the public relations industry’s equivalent to the Oscars. Betsy’s skill, talent and expertise place her at the forefront of her profession, a fact our clients appreciate and benefit from on a daily basis.
Betsy is unexcelled in her ability to formulate and execute comprehensive public relations programs, a skill that requires both big picture strategic thinking and attention to the smallest organizational details. She has an uncanny grasp of a client’s long-term needs, developing strategic plans that exist not in isolation but as building blocks, secure foundations for success today and tomorrow. The programs she creates for our clients are imaginative, strategically focused–and effective.
“Long-lasting relationships are the foundation for strong, effective public relations strategies,” she says. “It starts with building close partnerships with our clients. We not not only get to know clients’ products and services, but we also immerse ourselves in industry trends and nuances to create and deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time through the right medium.”
* Florida State fans—please don’t hold this against Betsy.
